We are excited to bring back the Community Contests for the 2022 North Idaho State Fair!

Are you an amazing corn shucker? Or maybe a family champion at Watermelon Eating? If so, we have it for you!

Entries for the community contests are free! Please be prepared to sign a liability waiver for various contests such as Pie Eating, Watermelon Eating, Decade Days Costume Contest, and Diaper Derby.

Watermelon Eating Contest

We are excited to bring back the Watermelon Eating Contest!!!

Multiple times and day's available so nobody misses out on the fun!!

1st through 3rd place winners receive a ribbon!

Corn Shucking Contest

Have you ever dreamed of being a corn farmer? Here's your chance to see if you could handle the pressure!

Multiple Corn Shucking contests available to participate in this year's fair!

1st through 3rd place recieve a prize!

Pet Rock Contest

Calling all amazing Pet Rock artists!! We have the competition for you!

Come show off your skills and receive a prize for 1st through 3rd place.

Decade Days Costume Contest

Have you always wanted to dress up as your favorite decade but never got the change? Here's your chance!!

Each day of the fair is themed spanning from the 1920's to the 2000's! Come dressed in your best with the chance to win!

First place winners from each decade will receive an admission ticket to return to the last day of the fair for our Parade of Champions!

Pie Eating Contest

Come one, come all to the famous Pie Eating Contest for this year's fair!

With multiple times and dates available, everyone has the opportunity to become the champion of Pie Eating. 1st place winners will receive a return admission ticket for Friday August 26th for the championship bracket.

Oreo Stacking Contest

Think you have what it take's to balance Oreo's?

Come stop by and see how many Oreo's you can stack for a prize!

Diaper Derby

Ready, Steady, GO!!!
The Diaper Derby is BACK for the 2022 North Idaho State Fair.

The Diaper Derby is available for kiddos from the ages of crawling to walking!
A liability waiver is required to be signed before any children are entered into the compitition.

Scavenger Hunt

New this year at the fair, Scavenger Hunt!!

Come find treasure around the fairgrounds this year and win big!
