Fair Person of the Year Award:

The North Idaho State Fair Board is delighted to honor Bill and Bobbi Brooks as the 2025 Fair Persons of the Year.

Business of the Year Award: Thorco

The North Idaho State Fair Board is proud to name The Shed Center as the 2025 Business of the Year. For the past eight years, The Shed Center has been an invaluable partner, providing the Fair with storage, ticketing, bar, and office space solutions that have helped us serve our community with efficiency and style.

Locally owned and operated, The Shed Center is based in Bonners Ferry and is not part of a national chain. Jake and his father Ken, both born and raised in Coeur d’Alene, have been the local dealers for over a decade. Their deep roots in our region and unwavering commitment to community values are evident in everything they do.

From compact doghouses to fully custom architectural designs, each building is locally engineered at Ace Solutions in Post Falls to meet Kootenai County’s residential building codes, snow load, and wind ratings. Their creativity knows no bounds—they’ve delivered buildings by truck, boat, barge, crane, and even Blackhawk helicopter!

Clyde Boatwright Award

The North Idaho Fair & Rodeo Foundation is proud to present the 2025 Clyde Boatright Award to Knudtsen Chevrolet, in recognition of their outstanding and ongoing support of the Foundation and its mission.

A true community partner, Knudtsen Chevrolet has been a longtime champion of the North Idaho State Fair and a vital supporter of the Foundation’s efforts. Their unwavering commitment is most notably seen through their continued role as title sponsor of the annual Cowboy Ball, the Foundation’s signature fundraising event. Through this partnership, Knudtsen Chevrolet has played an instrumental role in helping raise critical funds that support scholarships, youth programs, and capital improvements across the fairgrounds.

The impact of their generosity goes far beyond event sponsorship—it helps strengthen the fairgrounds as a community resource and preserve the fair experience for generations to come. Their dedication embodies the spirit of the Clyde Boatright Award, which honors those who believe deeply in the mission to educate, enhance, and support the future of agriculture and community through the fair.

The Foundation Board extends its heartfelt thanks to Knudtsen Chevrolet for their continued leadership, loyalty, and investment in our shared vision.

Volunteer Group of the Year Award

The North Idaho State Fair Board is proud to honor the Rathdrum Lions Club as the 2025 Volunteer Group of the Year. Their long-standing involvement, enthusiastic spirit, and unwavering commitment to both the fairgrounds and the greater community make them a shining example of what volunteerism is all about.

For many years, the Rathdrum Lions Club has been a familiar and valued presence at the fair—whether it’s raffling off classic muscle cars, serving up favorites from their food booth, or more recently, volunteering to tend bars during fair events. The tips they earn go right back into supporting the incredible work they do in our community.

The club has also generously donated benches that now sit near the food court, offering a place to rest and enjoy the fair—all while showcasing the Lions’ continued generosity and support.

Beyond their time and resources, the Rathdrum Lions Club has been a strong advocate for the fairgrounds and its mission to bring people together. Their efforts have made a meaningful difference, and we are truly grateful for their partnership.

Thank you, Rathdrum Lions Club, for your years of service, dedication, and heart. You exemplify the spirit of the North Idaho State Fair.
