The Youth Stock Show and Sale Committee is very excited to be offering all large and small animal livestock classes. Due to some of these changes, the following will be how the small animal showmanship classes will work:
Poultry Showmanship:
- Poultry showmanship will include all Market, Breeding, and Exhibition (previously called "pet") poultry participants.
- The highest placing market poultry exhibitor in each age division will compete for one spot in the Market Round Robin.
- The highest placing exhibition exhibitor in each age division will compete for one spot in the Non-Market Round Robin
- Market birds are not required to be used in showmanship. If you only enter a market bird into the Fair, you may bring in an alternate bird to use for showmanship
- If you are only showing an Exhibition Poultry project, you are still required to show showmanship
Rabbit Showmanship:
- Rabbit showmanship will include all Market, Breeding, and Exhibition (previously called "pet") rabbit participants.
- The highest placing market rabbit exhibitor in each age division will compete for one spot in the Market Round Robin.
- The highest placing breeding/exhibition rabbit exhibitor in each age division will compete for one spot in the Non-Market Round Robin
