International Fairs and Expositions Contest Results Announced
Las Vegas – The North Idaho State Fair received Awards of Excellence in multiple contests at the 127th annual International Association of Fairs and Expositions (IAFE) convention. First place awards included: Hall of Honor Communications, Innovative Sponsorships, Agricultural and Competitive Exhibits.
“The IAFE contests provide fairs with a unique collaboration experience, allowing them to critique sponsorship relationships, promotional materials, aspects of agriculture, and competitive exhibit techniques throughout fairs internationally,” Lori Hart, Director of Education and Member Services, said.
The awards were presented during the final general session on November 29, 2017. The contests entered by the North Idaho State Fair received a total of 1,396 entries, showcasing a vast array of creativity and recognition. Sponsors of the award categories include Etix, K&K Insurance, ShoWorks, and North American Midway Entertainment.
The International Association of Fairs and Expositions (IAFE), based in Springfield, Mo., is a voluntary, nonprofit corporation, serving state, provincial, regional, and county agricultural fairs, shows, exhibitions, and expositions.
