COVID-19 Safety Measures

This plan has been derived through conversations with Panhandle Health District, Local Officials to help create an environment that limits risks for attendees and still maintains a positive guest experience.

The North Idaho State Fair has worked closely with Panhandle Health District, following all the recommended precautions to ensure that our event can occur safely. We encourage all fairgoers to first evaluate their own potential risk of exposure to COVID-19 before choosing to attend, knowing that vaccines remain the best protection from COVID-19. In addition, we encourage fairgoers to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 when attending the North Idaho State Fair by wearing masks, practicing social distancing, and washing hands regularly.

Notification to Guests

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. Guests should attend only after evaluating their own health risks. Your entry onto the North Idaho State Fair property constitutes your understanding of these risks, and you voluntarily assume such risks related to exposure to COVID-19. The North Idaho Fair Board cannot be held liable if you contract COVID-19. Help protect yourself by following safety protocols, and state and local public health recommendations and mandates.
