KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

We can’t wait to celebrate the end of summer with you! As Kootenai County continues to adjust to staffing shortages, we ask that you to your best to plan in advance, and expect increased wait times.

The North Idaho State Fair prioritizes the health and safety for all our guests. For questions regarding our current Covid procedures please check out our full plan here >


Please keep the following points in mind when planning to spend your day with us at the North Idaho State Fair.

Entry Policy

No Pets - Service animals, attraction, exhibit, and demonstration animals are allowed. Staff may ask, ‘what service does this animal provide?’. Call gate supervisor for further discussion as needed.

No Outside Alcohol - Glassware, any opened beverage containers or alcohol of any kind is not permitted through admission gates. Coolers may be inspected before entry. Guests may bring food, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages.

No Riding Devices – Including bicycles, roller skates, blades, skateboards, uni-wheel boards or other modes of transportation deemed hazardous by the Fair Staff while on grounds.


There are NO wheel-chair rentals provided by the North Idaho State Fair, please plan accordingly.
